What to expect in your session

Each of your sessions will be unique and catered to “where you are for the day'“. While we certainly maintain focus for long term goals, often it’s important to meet the body where it is in the moment.

Many times people come to me for very specific issues to address. My practice is highly centered in client education and one of my greatest goals in every session is to get you more acquainted with your own body, your patterns, what may need to shift in your world outside of being on the table, and emotional connections to what keeps the body stuck in less than ideal patterns. I encourage and empower individuals through awareness.

Swedish style sessions, there is allowance for deep relaxation. Fall asleep, snore, drool… it’s all fine. This is the session to choose if you’re looking for a passive experience.

Orthopedic sessions and Manual therapy is often very focused and specific. There will be less relaxation and more troubleshooting between the two of us.

Structural Integration is highly active. These sessions you stay comfortably clothed. I will have you in seated, standing and side-lying positions throughout the session. We will work together fully, include movement and dialog. These sessions are not relaxing, however many people find a profound sense of inner peace and balance afterward.

“We must all obey the great law of change. It is the most powerful law of nature.”

– Edmund Burke
